I’ve been very busy of late, but still taking Instagrams because it’s such an awesome app. Expect more Nikon D7000 photos soon though, as I’ve finished off the wedding photos I took in March and have some ‘free’ time now.
I love my borrowed Volkswagon.

inspire-ation
Yes, I DO know that this title looks a little funny and is completely incorrect.
But this is how my mind is speaking to me today. Inspire-ation. I AM running on two lattes this Friday morning. Maybe this explains a couple of things. Usually one dose of caffeine is enough for the entire day.
Sitting on the 28th floor of an office building is a hard place to find this inspire-ation that I’m thinking about today.
Let’s start with Rockstar Diaries, one of my favourite blogs at the moment. Naomi Davis, husband Josh, baby Eleanor and pet bulldog Kingsley live in Washington DC. I love Naomi’s crazy-colourful fashion sense, and they live in a beautiful area in Washington!
Jasmine Star is such a talented and driven photographer/business woman. I was recommended to follow her blog by a fellow photographer friend. Jasmine is very reliable with regular posts and is a wonderful inspire-ation!
Then there’s Jamie, with Tumblr. New York lifestyle, her fashion is dreamy and she photographs New York Fashion Week and other stunning events. I adore her style of photography.
Please have a look at these three blogs. You won’t regret it! You may become addicted though…
Happy Friday! And here’s to a weekend of post-production for the wedding I photographed recently. I’m hoping to eat out for breakfast with my housemate tomorrow. Having somebody else make breakfast for you has to be one of the best things. Look forward to photos.
My friend Katie and I bought tickets to see Kate Miller-Heidke at the Concourse Theatre last night. The Dead Leaves from Melbourne were the supporting act. They played some great songs, but we both thought the set went for too long and that their songs were a little too similar. And besides, we were impatient to see Ms Miller-Heidke.
Unfortunately these photos were taken on my iPhone 4 with 10% battery left so the quality is not so good… but I was lucky to snap a few. Kate had so much energy, and her voice seems flawless like it can do no wrong. Katie and I have been fans for years and we’ve seen her perform before. Although there’s nothing like seeing her again.
Kate played crowd favourites, and also some of her new songs that will be included on her new album, Nightflight. It comes out in a month!
